Stalked sponge
Description
Small (<50 mm) egg shaped sponge anchored into the sediment with a stalk. It is white or light cream in colour. We are calling this Faroe-Shetland Channel Cold Water Sponge N. Kerry Howell at University of Plymouth has named this taxon as OTU387
