Ribbon fish
Description
It is likely a ribbonfish (the same family as the oar fish - Family Regalecidae) Trachipterus trachypterus or it could be one of the other two congeneric species (T. articus and T. jacksonensis). For ID: Mark Benfield ran this picture by a colleague who's an expert on these beasts.
