Pontaster tenuispinus
Description
P. tenuispinus is a common asteroid in the Norwegian Sea. It has been observed at all the deeper sites studied by SERPENT in the area. There are various morphs of the species and it appears that the different morphs are regionally specific. size approx. 100 mm
