Hermit crab
Description
P. prideaux has a symbiotic relationship with the anemone Adamsia carciniopados, which it carries on its shell. The anemone offers protection while gaining food from the crab’s feeding. The anemone's tentacles can be seen in this picture underneath the crab's shell. This image is from a return visit to Lancaster 9 months after drilling.
