Nymphaster arenatus Seastar on the seabed. The specimen photographed was identified by the museum in Caracas, Venezuela. It was Nymphaster arenatus (Perrier, 1881) (Asteroidea:Goniasteridae)which is common between 275 and 3000 mts from the Gulf of Mexico to Venezuela
