Description

Over 1000 mm length. A dogshark, family Squalidae, and looks very much like the widely distributed Centroscyllium fabricii, known from 200 - 1,600 m, including off W. Africa. Color, robustness, caudal fin, size and placement of dorsal fins are all right - need a better image to see spines on leading edges of dorsal fins.
